Privacy
Termbook helps schools keep their pupils and school fees records. This page explains, in plain words, what we keep and how we look after it.
What we keep
- Your school’s name, address, logo and colours.
- Pupils’ names, class and gender, and any extra details your school chooses to add (such as a parent’s name and phone number, or date of birth).
- Fees, discounts and payments that your school records.
- The email address and name of each person who signs in for your school.
Who can see it
- Only people your school has given a login can see your school’s records. Other schools cannot see them.
- Parents cannot see Termbook. They only get the receipts your school chooses to send them.
- We only look at your records when you ask us for help, or to keep the service working.
How it is kept safe
- Records are stored on Google’s cloud (Firebase), sent over secure connections and stored encrypted.
- Your school can hide all amounts behind a PIN.
- Past terms’ records cannot be changed, and pupils are never fully deleted by mistake.
What we never do
- We never sell your school’s data or share it with advertisers.
- We never contact your parents.
Your records are yours
Your school can download a full copy of its records at any time. If you stop using Termbook, we can give you a copy, and we will delete your school’s records when you ask us to.
